Invisible spot detection system ‘Spot-Less’

Nowadays the existing systems to get a centered message in a film are based on a visible mark or ‘spot’ on the film that the bagging machine is detecting through photo-cells. The main disadvantage of this ‘spot’ is that once we have the resulting net bag (i.e. Girsac-R or Ultrabag-R pack type), cosmetic-wise it somehow gets stained with a visible black&white mark.
Giró has developed the Spot-Less system that uses an invisible mark on the Girfilm and an outstanding detection system available in the GirBagger and UltraBagger range. Thanks to the Spot-Less system the final packs have better appearance and the spot detection is proven to be much more reliable than the traditional transmission or reflection reading systems using photo-cells.
