Since June 2021, Giró Group is a member of the United Nations Global Compact, a call to all the companies to work together in their strategies and operations with the Ten Universal Principles declared since the beginning of this initiative in 2000 and to take measures that promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As a company that is involve in this initiative, Giró accepts these Ten Principles, committing to implement them internally and, therefore, to respect human rights and labour standards, to preserve the environment and to act with transparency in its activities and operations.

Communication is a fundamental element of the Group's Sustainability Strategy and, within this strategy, the Sustainability Report is the platform on which Giró expresses its commitment to sustainable development through the explanation of all the initiatives that our group has carried out or is developing, highlighting the good practices in the environmental, social and ethical fields.

Addressed to all our stakeholders, this report has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards, the main international reference framework for the publication of non-financial reports.
